Data protection begins with the minimization of the collected data (data avoidance and data economy). Qualisys therefore collects less data and analyzes your use of our web sites to a lesser extent than is common practice, but has to log the use of its web sites to detect illegal activities and ensure availability and therefore stores sessions in the form of server log files and possibly cookies. We do not pass on this data to third parties and process them in accordance with the provisions of the EU Data Protection Regulation, the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Telemedia Act (TMG). In particular, we do not link this data to your personal information without your consent.

When registering for the use of our personalized services, some personal information will be collected, such as name, address, contact and communication information such as telephone number and e-mail address. If you are registered with us, you can access content and services that we offer only to registered users. Registered users also have the option of changing or deleting the data specified during registration at any time.

We do not want to miss pointing out the general dangers of using the Internet outside of our influence. Especially in e-mail traffic your data is not safe without further precautions and can be recorded by third parties. We offer alternative, encrypted communication channels for the exchange of confidential information.

Our data protection officer will give you at any time free of charge information about the personal data stored by us as well as the origin, the recipient and the purpose of data collection and data processing. In addition, you have the right to request the correction, blocking or deletion of your data. This does not apply to data that is stored due to legal regulations or required for the proper conduct of business. If data is not recorded by a legal archiving obligation, we delete your data at your request. If the archiving obligation takes effect, we will block your data.
